A team of seven Sixth Form students has completed a 260km Charity Cycle ride from Lyme Regis to Land’s End in aid of The Children’s Hospice South West. Team members had to cycle long distances over hilly, challenging terrain to raise over £2500.  Generous support came from Lovell’s Garage in Ottery St Mary, who lent a support van.

Navigator Jonty E said that the team chose to raise money for The Children’s Hospice as “It’s a charity that supports so many families across the South West.”

“Without it,” he added, “the lives of so many local people would be so much more difficult.”

The team visited one of the three hospices on the last day of their ride to see for themselves the amazing work that the charity does.

The cyclists were: Jonty E, Andrew T, Charlie S, Tristan A, Joe W, Rebecca H and Patrick L.
