Sixth Form students have run yet another successful lunchtime charity event.

The school’s hilarious twist on the panel game ‘Would I Lie To You?’ had a brimming Cottrill Hall in fits of laughter as the audience heard about some of the weirdest and wackiest events in six teachers’ and two students’ lives.

On the Girls’ team was: Mrs Fitzhenry, Miss Westhead, Ellie C and Mrs Swait.  On the Boys’ team was Mr Lynch, Mr Banks, Xavier F and Mr Rowe.

Despite the final results coming to an inconclusive 5 – 5, both the participants and the hosts pulled out all the stops, entertaining not only the audience, but also each other.

Year 11 Student Felicity M said:  “It was brilliant!  The best thing is that it was really funny, and also for charity”

This was one of several events that Sixth Form students organised to raise money for this year’s chosen charity, Water Aid .
