Fancy a week’s holiday in a 3-bed apartment in Lagos, Portugal? Or a 2-night stay in a smart apartment in York? What about a champagne afternoon tea for two at Lord’s Cricket Ground? These are just a few of the 37 amazing lots available to win in the CGS Parents’ Association ‘Silent Auction’.

Running until Sunday 20th March, the online auction has an incredible selection of prizes, offering something for everyone.

All you need to do is register on the CGS PA website and place your bid before 8pm on the 20th March. If you win, you will be notified via email with instructions for paying – details about the prizes will be appearing on the PA website shortly.

All the money raised will go towards the Space4Science fund-raising project – which aims to raise money to build a much needed science laboratory at school, and then equip all the labs with new equipment – particularly needed with 88% of students taking at least one science to A-level.

Parent organiser, Matt Day, said: “We have a great selection of lots to bid on – including a day’s cookery course at River Cottage, tickets to watch Somerset County Cricket, a light aircraft flight for two and a week in a smart holiday home in Polzeath, Cornwall.”

“Local businesses, parents and parents friends have been extremely generous in donating these lots to help fund the planned new science facilities.

Please visit the PA website to see more details of the lots and how to bid.
